At ecsot (ecsot.site), privacy is not an afterthought or a marketing claim—it is fundamental to our software architecture. We design our utilities so that your files, photos, PDFs, code, and text never leave your device whenever technically practical.

2. Client-Side Processing

Unlike traditional conversion and utility websites, ecsot executes file operations (including image compression, PDF merging, text formatting, and hash generation) directly inside your web browser using client-side JavaScript, WebAssembly, and native Web APIs (Canvas, FileReader, Web Crypto).

Your input files are loaded into your browser's local memory, processed locally, and downloaded directly to your device. No copy of your files is uploaded to or stored on our servers.

3. Analytics and Telemetry

We may use minimal, privacy-conscious telemetry (such as Microsoft Clarity) strictly to understand aggregate platform performance, browser compatibility, and broken interactions. We do not track individual identities, build user profiles, or sell telemetry data to third parties.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

ecsot does not use persistent advertising cookies. We use browser local storage solely to remember user-selected interface preferences, such as your light/dark theme preference.
