Tips for URL Encoding & Decoding
- •Component vs Full URL Mode: Component mode (encodeURIComponent) encodes '?' '&' '=' and '/' to prevent breaking query strings. Full URL mode (encodeURI) keeps them intact.
- •Space Encoding (%20 vs +): Standard URLs use '%20' for spaces. Form submissions (application/x-www-form-urlencoded) frequently use '+' instead.
- •UTF-8 & International Characters: Characters outside the standard ASCII range (including accents and emojis) are converted into multi-byte UTF-8 percent sequences.
- •100% Client-Side Privacy: All encoding and decoding happen directly inside your browser memory. No URLs, tokens, or queries are transmitted externally.
